A big BUT in the way.

Being an avid user of Social Networks, I find it very easy to get sucked into the negativity.
No matter what is happening, something is always wrong. Opinions are usually skewered by a pessimistic opinion or a stark voice of contrast.

If we are to open ourselves to other worlds of opinion, we must be prepared for the onslaught of negativity. Try not to get drawn into it. When I go out and post into Mental health forums, we usually forewarn others of possible emotional triggers within the content. We do not always have that luxury on social networks like Myspace, and Facebook. We have everyday people, venting lifes delicate issues. I am not saying that it is WRONG, I am simply "Just Saying".

With some individuals, it seems as that SOMETHING is always wrong. EX: "Today was better, but..." BUT WHAT? Today was better. Do we choose to live our lives in contrast to each day before the current? In that case, we should NEVER be able to live up to the BEST DAY of our lives. In that case, we should NEVER be happy with what we have. Correct?

It is very easy to coast through life with a general complaint about anything and everything. I myself am guilty of this, and work very hard to keep it in check. My opinion is that this is the result of boredom and routine. Our lives have become so routine in one fashion or another that we expect bad things or this is just another habit of ours. No matter how good things are, there is always a smudge on the mirror.

Try this if your having a good day and you see a big BUT in the way.
Look at the positive events that lead you to the but. Now, look around the but. What lies on the other side of it? All the good things we let it overshadow.
Now, go back to your positive events and the but will seem distant or non existent.
The only big BUT is your BIG BUT.
Think about it.
